2024-2025 Officers

A Maryland native, Vito grew up playing drums in various punk bands in the Baltimore, DC area. An English teacher at Walt Whitman High School and a published poet, Vito anchors the INFLUX rhythm section behind the kit and plays guitar on a few tunes as well. Monti is also the founder and co-advisor of The Collective Recording Studio at Whitman as well as the advisor for Lamplighters, the sound engineering and lighting tech program that supports all musical and theatrical productions at Whitman.

Matt Hoffman is an award winning singer/songwriter, a music major and the current Music, Arts and Dance Chair at Walt Whitman High School. As a multi-instrumentalist and production engineer, Matt has written and produced over 8 original albums and is also the co-advisor of The Collective Recording Studio at Whitman.

Aaron is a prospering musician at Walt Whitman High School and President of The Collective. Aaron is ambitious to be a professional musician, playing the Double Bass, Electric Bass and Piano. He attends The Juilliard School’s Pre-College program as a Double Bassist and performs on the Electric Bass within his community. On top of being president of the collective, Aaron is a part of the Walt Whitman Jazz Band, Chamber Orchestra, and member of the Hofstra Symphony Orchestra.

Beckett is an aspiring leader within his community. As Vice President of the Collective, Beckett performs as a drummer for many bands within his school. He is also the President of the Gardening Club at Walt Whitman High School and Audio Editor of Whitman’s Video Yearbook. Besides his musical passions, Beckett is also very interested in marine biology, and he intends to pursue this field in his higher education.

Analia is one of our newest officers as Treasurer of The Collective. She is an Electric Bass player and Viola player at Walt Whitman High School. She attends The Manhattan School of Music’s Pre-College program as a Viola player and performs alongside her brother in the Jazz Band at Whitman and Chamber Orchestra. Along with her dedication to the Viola and Electric Bass, she performed at The Collective's Pianos and Poets 2024 concert as a pianist.
